Im not feeling too confident in getting in to a good college based on my scores

what do you guys think my safety schools would be?

BTW, I live in Washington State, im an indian girl, in junior year, parents immigrated here, foreign birth

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

BUMP, anyone? I would really appreciate it!! I will chance back anyone who chances me!

Your GPA please… rigorous coursework doesn’t mean that much if your grades are too low.

freshman year: 3.6429
soph: 3.6

are they too low?

I’ll chance you on that basis.

wow thanks a bunch for the tips! i’m feeling much better now :)

can you explain to me the terms u used? like by ‘reach’, what exactly do u mean? are there things i can do in order to make the reaches closer to me?

also, im looking into the veterinarian field…which colleges would u recommend?
i really want to make it to cornell (because of their vet program) and i would really like to improve to make it in! what do u recommend on doing?

BUMP! Catria and anyone else, what do you think?

bump, anyone, please answer my questions!!

If your town has a vet or even a local animal shelter then try volunteering their if your interested in going into that field. Otherwise just keep studying to get your grades up and do well on the SAT and/or ACT.

Thank you guys very much!! Greatly appreciated!

what does ‘low match’ mean? like am i above standards for a college thats a low match or below?

bump! anyone?

I use low match meaning that the school is closer to a safety than a reach, however others may use it the other way around.

bump, any other opinions on my chances?

Note: by “safety” I don’t mean “100.00% guaranteed”

You should retake your SAT and ACT, as you plan to do. If you can score >2000 or even better, you’ll have a much better shot at some of these universities.

Honestly, some of your AP scores are low. Is there some way to improve this?

Increase your GPA.

Boost your EC’s (good, but can be better, of course)

Yeah, you should probably try to get higher test scores. You may not want to apply to THAT many colleges, it can be very expensive! Well, idk. But if you raise your scores, you will have a good chance!

Your test scores are way too low for any ivy league college, duke , or tufts.

You got a shot at the others tho

Increase your test scores and GPA for the Ivies, Duke, Tufts and Wellesley.

Not sure of the others. Good luck!
^▁^

good shot at all of them! chance me.
