<p>Match and equal are terms used mostly on college websites like this one. But as far as I can interpret reach means that you aren’t 100% in just by the data you present. For example luvpanjabi said UCSD is a low reach college. This means that your chances of getting in are still high, but not 100%. A regular reach school just means that there is about an equal chance of you getting in to not getting in. High reach means that there is a small, but not impossible chance. MIT for you would be an example of a high reach school, you’ve done impressive things, but you don’t hvae perfect grades and MIT is always a reach school from what I’ve read. Finally I’m assuming match means is a good match for you and you will probably get in.
So in terms of likeliness to get in (from what I’ve interpreted from being on this forum for a day):
Safe>Match>Low Reach,Medium Reach>High Reach</p>
