Chance me for the umich class of 2023!

DISCLAIMER: Most of the things on this list, with the exception of my current status, are predicted. I have tried to make the most credible assessment based on my academic rigor, previous standardized test scores, and my performance in school. I plan to make an updated list after I receive the final results for everything listed.

Status:
Currently an in-state w/ mother as a legacy. Family income is less than $30,000 most likely due to the early death of my father, but both of these factors, to my knowledge, will make me eligible for many scholarships.

Academics:
Weighted GPA - 4.0 by the end of this school year. Unweighted GPA - 3.72 by the end of this school year. Class rank - 10%

SAT scores - Most likely got in the 1300 range for my most recent SAT. I will be taking it again in August to get in the 1400s.

APs - AP US Government and Politics (3). Currently taking AP Language and Composition (predicted 5), AP World History (predicted 4), and AP Environmental Science (predicted 4); these predictions have been based on my performance in the class and during previous tests. It’s also important to note that my school encourages students to take the AP test for Lang at the end of senior year, so I will not have that score to show umich during the application process. During my senior year, I will be taking AP Literature and Composition, AP Calculus, AP Psychology, and AP Microeconomics.

Honors - Took Honors English 9 and 10 in addition to Honors Biology 9.

Summer classes and test-outs - I tested out of Algebra 2A before freshmen year, took speech and health before my freshmen year, and took Spanish 2A and 2B during the summer before my Junior year. I will be attempting to test out of Senior Finance during this summer.

Dual Enrollment - During this summer, I will be taking college-level classes at GVSU. To my knowledge, the statistics course I am taking is effectively equivalent to AP Statistics (which is offered at our school), and the Trigonometry course I am taking is equivalent to pre-calculus (I am only taking this to take AP Calculus for my senior year). The Stats credit is transferable! With the way it works at my high school, these classes will count towards my GPA, so it might be higher than I have listed.

Extra Curriculars:
An accomplished musician (vocalist w/ private lessons for four years, pianist w/ private lessons for eight years, cellist w/ private lessons for seven years, and self-taught guitar).
Participation in Boy Scouts of America for more than five years. I have attained leadership positions (like SPL and ASPL) while in the program. I obtained my Eagle Scout during the latter half of my sophomore year. Also in Order of the Arrow.
Participation in high school musicals w/ low acceptance rates. Attained a lead role during my sophomore year. Will most likely participate again during my senior year. Was also in all middle school musicals with leading or supporting roles.
Participation in cross country during my junior year and most likely senior year.
Founder and president of the “Dead Poets Society” club (a club based around poetry and free-thinking) since junior year.
Member of NHS during senior year.
Participation in high school’s top choir and orchestra. Also a member of Chamber choir (intended for great vocalists).

I believe that this is all I can come up with at the moment. If you could not tell, this is my first post, so I’m sorry for making it so lengthy! Also, I am planning to apply to LSA with preferred admissions to Ross. I am comfortable with getting accepted into LSA and then transfering to Ross after a year!

Also should add that I am a white male
