Woops, mind the title. I'm not staying in NYC for college. So it'll be NY. :D

I'm a Junior right now and I'm really starting to think about college again. Here's some info:

Sophomore PSAT: 162
Junior PSAT: 170

9th Grade Average: 95%
10th Grade Average: 94%
11th Grade Average so far: About 92% (gonna push it back up)

About 100 hours of community service

Had 2 jobs, one at an afterschool and one over the summer at a rec center

Interned at Reaching Out Social Services and helped at their food pantry

10th Grade Class Rep in Student Gov't
11th Grade Student's Activity Council (this is branched off of the Student Gov't)
9th Grade Book Club (the club died the next year though, so IDK if I should write this on my portfolio)

Chance me for these schools please:

Syracuse University
Stony Brook
Binghamton
(and what other good NY schools are there in my range?)

These schools don’t require high SAT scores at all. I’m in the range for all of them, I think. I never took the SAT, only the PSAT, so I can’t be so sure.

I never took the SAT, but I signed up for a SAT prep course. I just took my first practice SAT today and it seems easy enough. I’ll find out my results in two weeks. Hopefully I did well.
