Chance me for these NYC schools

Woops, mind the title. I'm not staying in NYC for college. So it'll be NY. :D

I'm a Junior right now and I'm really starting to think about college again. Here's some info:

Sophomore PSAT: 162
Junior PSAT: 170

9th Grade Average: 95%
10th Grade Average: 94%
11th Grade Average so far: About 92% (gonna push it back up)

About 100 hours of community service

Had 2 jobs, one at an afterschool and one over the summer at a rec center

Interned at Reaching Out Social Services and helped at their food pantry

10th Grade Class Rep in Student Gov't
11th Grade Student's Activity Council (this is branched off of the Student Gov't)
9th Grade Book Club (the club died the next year though, so IDK if I should write this on my portfolio)

Chance me for these schools please:

Syracuse University
Stony Brook
Binghamton
(and what other good NY schools are there in my range?)

BUMP

And my school doesn’t offer any AP classes. :P

bump

anyone chance me?

Hmm try Stony Brook and Binghamton

Anyone help me out plz :)

bump anyoneeeeeeee?

I think you have a good shot at the schools. what are the standardized testing scores like for accepted students in each school?

These schools don’t require high SAT scores at all. I’m in the range for all of them, I think. I never took the SAT, only the PSAT, so I can’t be so sure.

binghamton seems quite hard to get in now with anything less than an 1800 O_O

Depending on your SAT scores, you should look at SUNY Geneseo.

"binghamton seems quite hard to get in now with anything less than an 1800 O_O "

I got 170 on my Junior PSAT, am I on track to getting the 1800?

I think they are all matches except possibly stony brook, low reach

youngm2194, why is Stony a low reach?

Is it cuz of the low PSAT score?

Syracuse University - Match
Stony Brook- High Match
Binghamton- Low Reach

Bring up your SAT scores to 1800+ and you’ll have a better shot at these schools.

Some other schools to look at in NY: RPI (SATs need to be 2000+ for this one), Union, SUNY Albany, SUNY Buffalo, City College.

I never took the SAT, but I signed up for a SAT prep course. I just took my first practice SAT today and it seems easy enough. I’ll find out my results in two weeks. Hopefully I did well.

If I had a 1900 SAT score, would they all be Match?

I’d say a match for all of these.
