*******I'm a junior heading into senior year so I can still add things to my application but this is what I have so far. Pinpointing some of my weaknesses, my GPA is not very high considering the type of schools I wanna get into, my course rigor and amount of APs are not many but my school allows a student to only take a certain amount per year depending on your GPA, so I'm only allowed to take 3 in my senior year. My EC's are meager, nothing worthwhile though I have some decent volunteer service. I have no awards/honors, I don't even know any kids in my school who get awards/honors besides in sports. ORM and high-income also spells doom. All the classes I take in my school are considered honors since each class is weighted, but they're not listed as honors courses, at least not on the transcript. Now, those 3 SAT 2 scores are purely speculative besides the US History one. I have not taken Math I and Literature though I plan to, and I project myself getting scores in that range. I have also not received my AP scores yet but those are what I'm predicting.

The following is a list of schools I'm interested in, but most of which I probably won't even apply to. I just want to know what my level is and what schools are reaches, matches, etc. and how I fare in the grand scheme of things.

The Ivies (now every response I've seen on this board concerning Ivy chances is that they are reaches for anybody, so I just wanna know if I'm low-reach, high-reach, etc. and whether or not I have a shot. Some of these Ivies I won't even most likely apply to. I would really like to know about Cornell though since that is the one I am most interested in out of all the schools I plan on applying to/am interested in):
Cornell
Columbia
Princeton
Dartmouth
U Penn

The "elite" schools:
Amherst
U Chicago
Duke
Johns Hopkins
Northwestern
Georgetown

The other schools (Ones I think I have a good shot at):
UC Berkeley
UCLA
USC
Carnegie Mellon
Ann Arbor
NYU
Binghamton

All the Ivies and elites are mid to high reaches. The “other schools” are high to mid matches. You need some safeties on your list.

In general, I think
Princeton, Columbia: high reach
Penn, Chicago: mid/high reach
Duke, Dartmouth, Cornell, NW, Amherst: mid reach
GT, JHU, CMU: high match/low reach

I think you’ll get in for sure at the others.

Apply to Cornell Early Decision you have a high chance of getting in, its 30% acceptance and I’ve heard that Legacy-type stuff only applies then. Only apply if you are 100% sure that you want to and can afford to attend.
