  • Babson College
  • Northeastern U

I need like 2 really good schools where I have like a 99% chance of getting admitted.
Thoughts on these schools?
Would you recommend any other school?
and finally, Chance me please!

Bump!

Sorry for the late response.
What is your home state? How much can your family contribute?

With your current SAT, you have practically zero chance at Wharton, Stern, Cornell, and Berkeley. (sorry for being so straightforward). The others are, indeed, reach-es.

Babson College and Northeastern are both high match, but as business-driven as you are, I think Babson is very likely.

If you can raise your SAT to at least 2100, I think you’ll be considered at every school you apply to.

You can look into Bentley University (good business school), Miami University-Oxford (100% accepted with some merit-aid), SUNY Binghamton (a little pre-professional, but has very solid business program).

When you have new SAT Score, we may help you with more suggestions.

You might give the ACTs a try. Some students with good grades who don’t game grades (that is, those that get good grades because they are interested in learning rather than competing and who approach tests in a straight forward manner --as if the test were not trying to trick them-which the SAT is trying to do but the ACT is not) do better on ACT than SATs.

You have great credentials-I think that Ihtanh98 is being a bit of a pessimist.

Hi guys! Thanks for the answers! Just a small update:
Northeastern does not require internationals to submit SAT scores so I guess I’m good there. (I’m applying early).
As for my SAT, I have practiced and done 2 practice tests on which I scored 2070 and 2150. I also managed to increase my CR from 590 to 670 on both exams. I know this is just practice but I really am hoping for at least a super-score of 2100. I hope this will help me get in to at least 3 of the universities mentioned above! Thanks for your support.

Are you in a US high school now? If so you are not "international’, regardless of citizenship.

I think you have a shot at the bottom four of your list but not the others

  • Boston College
  • Boston University
  • Babson College
  • Northeastern U

@TomSrOfBoston Nope I am not in a US high school. I was born and raised in the Middle East. I never lived in USA.

You have left out a few. Villanova, Wake Forest, SMU, Bucknell, Lehigh, Indiana and Richmond.
