-Lehigh Uni
-BC and BU
-Uchi ... lol I know this sounds absurd
-Emory uni

Your SAT score is decent for an international student but you’re chances would be higher if they were higher as you’ll be competing with other internationals and Asians that typically have high stats. You’re IB score is pretty good, but you also need to mention what you go in your IGCSEs or whatever it is you did in 9th/10th grade as colleges look at those grades, not only IB grades.

Only ranking you for the colleges I know about:

-UC Berkeley - Reach
-Uni of Washington - Seattle campus - Match
-Uni of Michigan - Ann Arbor - Low reach
-BC - Low reach
-Uchi … lol I know this sounds absurd - High Reach??

I think you have a chance at some of these schools.Your scores are decent and your background is interesting, but you have a lot of competition with other Asians. Good luck!

First of all, thank you for chancing me!
Your SAT score is on the slightly low side for an international but your iB grades are pretty good.
-UC Berkeley- high reach
-UCLA- mid to low reach
-UCSD- Match/ high match
-UCD- Match
-Uni of Washington - Seattle campus
-Uni of Michigan - Ann Arbor- high match/ low reach
-BC and BU- High match/match
-Uchicago- high Reach

Hi
As an IB student I agot predicted 2 extra points instead of 3 so I wouldn’t be 100% sure your score is 37, there is an equally possible chance you are 36. But 36/37 is solid as it is so well done :D. Your SAT is also very solid but probably not solid enough some of the schools like chicago and berkeley that u mentioned along with the IB You are still a strong applicant but try and add more safeties and low matches! Like maybe take out chicago and add purdue?

-UC Berkeley- high reach
-UCLA- mid reach
-UCSD- high match
-UCD- low/mid match
-Uni of Washington - Seattle campus- match
-Uni of Michigan - Ann Arbor- high match/ low reach
-BC and BU- low reach/match
-Uchicago- high Reach
-Emory - Low reach (Maybe try EDing?)

Oh and ik this might sound silly cus u have 590 but try and get that writing above 600 as a lot of unis have pre screening cut offs at 600. Ik a kid who had almost the exact same profile as my friend and the same final SAT score but he had a higher math score but a lower reading score, below 600, and got rejected by a fair few schools the other guy got accepted into. Obviously essays and such could have played into it but imo they were very similar D:

Yay we got the same iB grades! only chanced for colleges i’m more familiar with :)

-UC Berkeley: reach
-UCLA: reach
Berkeley and LA are def reach, although I would say theyre reach for most people. I have many friends who have 40+ in IB and 2200+ in SAT who are applying together with me :S
-UCSD: Low reach/match I know a guy who got 32 on ACT and 36 in IB, although he has lots of sports and ECs
-UCD: match
-Uni of Washington - Seattle campus: Match
-Uni of Michigan - Ann Arbor: Low reach/Match, know a guy who got 37-38 on IB and 2100+ on SAT and got into it
-BC and BU: Match for BU, match for BC
