-Rising senior (class of 2010)
-White male, upper-middle class
-Top public school in Northeast Ohio
-Rank: 6/449
-W GPA: 4.3748
-UW GPA: 4.0208 (an A+ counts for a 4.33 unweighted at my school btw)
(slight upward trend in grades—went from a handful of A-'s and one B+ [screw orchestra] freshman year to solid A's and A+'s junior year—hardly distinguishable though)
-Most rigorous (and then some) courseload available (I took quite a few classes earlier than even the most accelerated students [i.e. AP Calc BC junior year instead of senior year, doubled up on science to take Acc. Physics sophomore year instead of junior year, etc.])
-5 AP Classes and one independent study culminating in an AP exam by the end of junior year

Test Scores
SAT I: 2340 (one sitting—second time taking it)
800CR, 740M, 800W (9 essay—ugh)

SAT II:
800 Chem
780 US History
770 Math II

Projecting 5's on AP tests (AP Calc BC, AP Stats, AP Chem, AP English Lang, AP US History, AP French Literature)

ACT – 34 composite
35E, 36M, 32R, 34S (writing score not in yet)
(I'm not going to submit this, but just for reference)

Essays—haven't started yet, but should be quite good

Recs—Hopefully excellent. I'm asking my APUSH teacher (who's well known for writing fantastic recs) and my AP Chem teacher (who's also my neighbor and a friend of the family)

Intended Major—something in mathematics or the sciences (partially undecided)

Extracurriculars (somewhat weak?):
-Jazz band (grades 9,10) (I play bass in jazz as well as drums and guitar recreationally)
-MUN (grades 10, 11, 12)—I was Vice-President this past year and I'm going to be President next year (I also designed the club's website)
-Leadership Conference Planning Committee (grades 11, 12)—we plan the school's annual Leadership Conference (only 15 spots on the committee—selected via an application and interview process)
-JETS JV Team (grade 11)

Awards:
-NMS Commended, most likely semi-finalist
-National French Exam Laur
