Chances for...
Boston College
SUNY Binghamton, Stony Brook
Cornell
Duke
U of Michigan, Virginia, NC @ Chapel Hill
Tufts
Rice
HYPS
Dartmouth
Columbia (trying to get into SHP this year)

thanks!!!

I’d give you a good shot at Duke and Tufts. I’m guessing the S in HYPS is stanford now? haha.
Word of warning, only do SHP if you actually like it. I’ve been told they don’t even consider it in college decisions. I do it simply for enjoyment.
I don’t know anything about Rice or Virginia.
for Stanford and Chapel Hill there’s an issue. as part of their charters, a certain proportion of their incoming student body must be from their state. This severely reduces the chances of a LIer like yourself. (I’m from Half Hollow Hills haha, so I recognize a lot of stuff on your list).
The SUNYs are easy ins.
BC I think you have a good shot at too. Dartmouth and Columbia I can’t say much. I think you have a good shot. Columbia loves music with academics, seriously, accentuate it if you can. Cornell I can’t say anything for really. their admissions seem to work weirdly

Cornell (at least at my school) likes music with academics as well. The past few years everyone accepted to Cornell from my hs has played an instrument.

I think you have a good shot at all of them. Ivy’s are obviously reaches but if its clear your passionate about something looks like you will be fine.

Boston College-in
SUNY Binghamton, Stony Brook-I don’t know about admissions.
Cornell-in
Duke-in
U of Michigan, Virginia, NC @ Chapel Hill-I don’t know about admissions.
Tufts-low reach
Rice-low reach
HYPS
Dartmouth-reach
Columbia (trying to get into SHP this year)-reach
