chance me for transfer from vanderbilt to an ivy league?

so one my parents reaaally wants me to transfer from vandy to an ivy league, even though i love it here, but we will see what happens. can someone pleeeease take a look at my stats and tell me what my chances are for even getting in to any of them? thank you so much in advance!!

800 (writing)

SAT II:
710 (spanish)
750 (math II)

high school gpa:
my school didn't have gpa or ranking, but if we did i think i would have about 3.8 unweighted

college gpa:
for this first term, i took chemistry, calculus, psychology, and spanish, and im predicting that my gpa will be somewhere in between 3.3 and 3.5 :/

Is there anything about vanderbilt you dislike? Also, you will have a very difficult time transferring out with a 3.3-3.5GPA.

Unlikely with that GPA, either stay at Vandy (which is what you really should do since you say you like it) or transfer junior year after raising your GPA.

if you were not accepted before, you will have less chance to be accpeted this time around. better stay.

I never applied to those schools in the first place! Does that change things at all?

Even from Vandy, you probably need a 3.7-3.8 to get into an Ivy, so I think you’re chances are slim. Tell your parents it’s a waste of money to try to apply. I mean, you said you like it at Vandy, and your parents can’t really get you into an Ivy (or can they?).

It is very difficult to ‘transfer up’ as a soph because you will have only completed 1 sem of college work when decisions are made and your HS record and test scores will be weighted more heavily. In your case, the addition of a relatively low college gpa makes your chances even less.

The Ivy league is an athletic conference, transfer rates range widely for the schools within it.
