Currently looking at...

Brown University
New York University
Rutgers University
Washington University - St. Louis
New York University
Northwestern University

Side Note:
I honestly do have a lot of reasons for transferring; one of which being the fact that I'm one of only 5 philosophy majors in my grade (class of 3,600), so it's rather difficult to connect with student(s), and because of the way the school is set up, with regards to classes/education, it's difficult to have a class with another philosophy major student.

Bump 10charrule

I’m not an expert at this (I don’t even know my own chances), but I think you deserve an answer.

Brown University - lower reach
New York University - high match
Rutgers University - low match
Washington University - St. Louis - reach
Northwestern University - reach

You should consider Penn because it has a major called PPE (Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics)

[School of Arts & Sciences - University of Pennsylvania](Philosophy Politics & Economics)

Chances on a scale from 1 to 5 (1=low chance 5=high chance)
Brown University 2.5
New York University 4
Rutgers University 5
Washington University - St. Louis 4
Northwestern University 3

Rain, can you chance me on that scale? I haven’t had much input on my thread (only Demo has helped me)

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/1433281-transfer-chances-amherst-unc-chapel-hill-stanford-nyu-etc.html#post15216786</a></p>

I think you’re a lock to get into Rutgers. You have a good chance at NYU, a shot at Wash U, and Brown/Northwestern are reaches. I think with the extra curriculars, strong SAT, and very solid first semester GPA, you will definitley get into 2 or 3 of those schools.

Can you please answer my post
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/1434603-transfering-boston-university.html</a></p>

Rain, I’m definitely looking into/applying to Penn now. Thanks for that!

NewYorker, I posted on your thread! :)

This depends on the rigor of the current school you are in, but I think the GPA is a bit low for Penn, Northwestern, WUSTL, and Brown. Your SAT is also just average for these schools. Your ECs are your strong point and your chances may shift depending on your essays.

Chances on a scale of 1-5
Brown University - 2
Rutgers University - 5
Washington University - St. Louis - 2
New York University - 4
Northwestern University - 2

Chance back?
