I help out my elderly neighbor alot, just small things but it's on an everyday basis. I'm hesitant to include this becuase they may look at it as fluff. Should I?</p>

<p>i think you have a very very good chance. just make sure your essays show your personality and you should be fine</p>

<p>as far as the neighbor thing it is a bit fluffy but applications are all about showing off every thing you do. i don't think it would hurt you to include it.</p>

<p>If you just list helping your neighbor as an ec, then that would probably look like fluff. But if you can write about that in a short response, common app essay, or a supplemental essay then it would become significant.</p>
