Chance me for U of Minn, U Denver...

Hi! I am just wanting very brief chances for some of the schools I've applied to/may apply to bases solely on my GPA and test scores. I know without extra info it is harder to estimate my chances but i just want some general ideas.

GPA: 3.5 UW, 3.7 W
Class rank: top 10%
SAT: 1980
ACT: 30
APs: 3 on APUSH sophomore year, 5 AP psych, 5 AP Lang, taking AP lit and AP physics 1 this year

My GPA is low due to health issues sophomore year (was a rly bad year for me and also explains the 3 on the AP test) and the following junior year i managed a 4.0UW/4.2W gpa.

I applied to University of Minnesota for the college of biological sciences and it is my absolute top choice. At first i was very confident i would get in but realized it is a lot more competitive than i initially believed it to be. I applied in september and still waiting for a decision so i thought i would make this chances post now to either calm or maybe heighten my nerves depending on the answers lol...

So yeah, please chance me for:

University of Minnesota-TC
University of Denver
UC Boulder
Oregon State
University of Washington

Thank you so much for those who reply!!! Sorry i meant to keep this short and sweet

I am a first generation college student and a minority student also, from a small town in Alaska, and a national merit quarterfinalist if that helps

(Also, this list is pretty short as I left out some other schools i am considering, but it would also be very much appreciated if you could include some suggestions for schools I could look at. Nothing you have to do but i am requesting on the sideline, as i am not really aware of many schools. I do prefer bigger schools in the west coast to midwest area. Again, thank you all so much..i just want some general suggestions)

UMN CBS is very competitive – I’m sure you’ve seen the admission averages here: <a href=“Academic Profile of Fall 2022 Admitted Freshman Applicants by College | Office of Admissions”>http://admissions.tc.umn.edu/academics/profile.html</a></p>

Do you have any financial restrictions or a budget? Are you looking for financial aid or scholarships? Are you planning to use the tuition break from the Western Undergraduate Exchange? (<a href=“Save On College Tuition | Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)”>http://wiche.edu/wue</a>) Note that Minnesota is not part of WUE, and not all colleges in the participating states are part of that program either, including others on your list. See: http://wiche.edu/info/publications/wueHandout.pdf</a>

You’ve selected some very expensive universities so far, and you should be looking for financial safeties as well as admission safeties.

Also, which area of Biology are you interested in most – to put it simply, humans, animals, or plants?

It’s hard to make suggestions without this information about finances and interests (what you plan to do in the field of Biology).
