I have been slacking throughout high school until junior year. At the summer, end of the sophmore year, I went to India and realized I am taking everything I have for granted. While others in India are yearning to learn but forced in mediocre schools, if any, I am slacking off, even though I am given the opportunity (by my parents) to attend one of the nations top 50 high schools. The vacation to India opened my eyes, and I realized I need to make the most of my fortunate situation. I tried throughout junior year, with 3 AP courses, and got a 3.67 unweighted, 4.167 weighted GPA.

What are my chances of getting in? I'm extremely passionate about technology and would love if I could further develop my knowledge by majoring in Comp Sci at great college.

I think you have a great, if not solid, chance of getting in. I am an incoming freshman at Cal. Don’t worry about your grades from Sophomore year. They love to see improvement and the years they take into consideration the most are Junior and Senior. Everyone has a weak part to their application, you feel yours is your GPA, I felt mine was my test scores. I can’t speak for every case, but your scores are above mine a bit. We do have different academic situations with schools and grades but that probably just balances things out. Your “Others” are things they’ll really like to see, especially the youtube channel.
So, yeah, overall, I think you have a good chance! If you have any questions feel free to ask!
Oh, and I was also accepted to UCLA and UC San Diego

Really? I’ve heard their admittance GPAs are around 4.1=/
Plus, I’m asian, and I have to compete against my classmates, who are very smart since 85% of my class is asian =/

What’s your ethnicity?

I’m not entirely sure their admittance GPA. Mine was 4.0 uw/ 4.57 w. I didn’t say that your GPA was a weak spot I just said it seemed like you felt it was.
If you feel like your ethnicity is a problem then you can omit it.
I am Filipino.

I believe ur good for UIUC and posibly UCSB, ive known a couple of people with grades like yours ge tin to that school. Not too sure about the others but good luck!
