I would say you are competitive for UCLA and UCB but still consider them Reach schools due to the low acceptance rate for ME.

Best of luck and hopefully you have some solid safety and match schools on your list.

Best of luck.

I know more about UIUC than the others. I think it’s a good fit for you but be aware that they defer a lot of EA kids for Engineering, especially OOS kids. My D was deferred last year, with similar stats to yours, but later admitted.

Hi thanks for helping me out. Actually, I’m not going EA, I’m doing RD. Btw, would it make my chances of getting in lower if I didn’t apply for an alternate major? I’m only applying to EE there and unfortunately, they won’t let me choose ME as my alternate major and I’m not really interested in other majors…

Thank you for helping me out. BTW, do either of those schools conduct alumni interviews? I searched it up and it doesn’t seem like there are any unless you are considered for scholarships at UCB. Also, is it a good sign that UCB requested letter of recommendations? Furthermore, would you happen to know any of the scholarship opportunities these schools offer? Sorry, peppering you with questions haha
