<p>Extracurriculars: Founder and president of Microfinance Club, since my sophomore year we've made over $7000 in loans, have volunteered as a tutor for kids struggling academically for 4 years, volunteer at immigrant services at YWCA for years, Academic Bowl since sixth grade, Model UN, Research in the field of Economics, worked at my school in the summers as an IT guy, built an app for the school, Captain of cross country team, student body president, counselor at a summer camp, Spirit Band, Concert Band, and Jazz Band (won statewide competitions in Jazz Band) played Baritone and Trombone.</p>

<p>Note: while I don't have much to show as far as AP classes/scores, my high school is considered as one of the three most difficult high schools in the state. The teachers don't like the common core/AP curriculums (especially outside of the math department) but my understanding is that most colleges know that our honors classes are just as hard as AP courses. Also, U of C admissions people personally know one of our college counselors I believe.</p>
