Median weighted GPA for admitted freshmen to UCLA School of Engineering : 4.44

Median SAT scores:

Thanks for the response.
I want to get into bio-medical/bio informatics major. Honestly, I do not know if I can answer specifically why engineering only and not into sciences major !
How do you get to choose a specific major, if you got the admission under ‘undeclared engineering’ category? Could that increase or decrease my chances?

Is it advisable to also apply for science major and try a transfer later? or that could be even more difficult.
