Sorry for the long post, but will chance back!

Bump!

I don’t know anything about non CA schools so I’ll just do the California ones

UC Berkeley- (L&S CS) - Possible
UCLA- (Materials Engineering) - Possible
UCSD- (Computer Engineering) - Probably
USC- (Dornsife: Computational Mathematics) - Possible
CP SLO- (Software Engineering) - Yes
UCI- (Computer Science) Yes
UC Davis- (Computer Science) Yes
UCSB- (Computer Engineering) Yes
UCR- (Computer Science) Yes

I disagree. The OP’s GPA and SAT are a bit low if they want to get into Berkeley’s College of Engineering. It is MUCH harder to get into their College of Letters and Sciences.

There are far too many schools on this list. The OP would have to complete 16 applications. Come up with a smaller, more balanced list, and don’t just choose based off the big names. If you’re from California, why not consider Harvey Mudd?

@mrbloxley @RoundGenius I thought L&S is easier than CoE at UCB, also, I am trying to narrow this list, based on the chances I get. Also, I don’t think Harvey Mudd would be a fit for me. Thanks for all the advice!

WOW JimBurles!

With all of what you said, you should have no problems getting into any of the UC schools for sure! The only schools that might be reaches are Duke, UPenn, and Northwestern just because they are super hard to get into.

Hope this helps and best of luck to you!

So sorry! I forgot to add a “than” in there. I meant to say that CoE is much harder to get into than L&S.

@RoundGenius @JezRanger1 @mrbloxley Thanks for the chances! If you want me to chance you guys, please leave a link to your post :). Also accepting other chances! Thanks!
