I'm a Senior that currently live in California and go to a fairly new public high school (~5-6 years old) with about 4000 students, 800 in my class. I plan on either doing pre-med and then doing pharmacy or going into engineering.

Senior Year Schedule so far:
-AP Statistics
-AP Psychology
-AP Gov / Honors Economics
-Physics Honors
-Regular Literature
-Early Dismissal

I'm on a block schedule at my school so every other day when I have early dismissal I'll be working at a tutoring center as well as volunteering at Kaiser Permanente.

Your GPA is decent but your SAT and SAT II’s are low for most of the top tier UC’s. Also despite your good grades, your AP test scores are not very good (but I’ve been told most schools don’t factor this into admissions). Your senior year schedule does not seem to be all that rigorous, and this may affect your chances, especially for the UC’s as they look at first semester senior grades too. And if you plan on majoring in Biology or Engineering, you should probably focus on getting a 700+ at least on a SAT II science.

-UCB - Reach
-UCLA - Reach
-UCSD - High Match
-UCI - High Match
-UCR - Match
-USC - Reach
-Cal Poly SLO - Not Sure
-Cal Poly Pomona - Not Sure

Also your ELC will get you into a lower tier UC (Santa Cruz, Riverside, Merced, etc.) but you are above those levels.

Your scores need to improve. I mean you are pretty much in the ball park, but not enough to be like" IM TAKIN OVA BIOTCH"…so improve all of your test scores except ACT, that was not bad pretty good and your Chemistry and Math were good too. Your US history should definitely be retaken. Honestly to say, if you don’t think you can pass the 2000 bar on the SAT, don’t retake. You seem pretty okay though.
