Chance me for UCs

I am a senior in a top high school in Lebanon. I am a California resident and lived there for many years but moved to Lebanon for high school. I would like to know what my chances are for the following UCs:
UC Berkeley
UCLA
UC San Diego
UC Davis
UC Santa Barbara
UC Irvine

I am interested in a Biology major at any of these schools.
My unweighted GPA is approximately 3.5 and I have no clue what my weighted GPA is because my school doesn't provide it.
My three SAT scores are as follows:
1920 (CR-600, Math-710, Writing-610)
2090 (CR-680, Math-760, Writing-650)
2070 (CR-600, Math-800, Writing-670)

My academic rigor is the hardest possible rigor provided in my school and my courses include the following:
Honors Advanced Mathematics
AP Calculus AB (scored a 3 on AP Exam)
AP Calculus BC
Honors Physics
AP Physics B
AP Physics C
Honors Chemistry
AP Chemistry
A-level Chemistry (AS/A2)
Honors Biology
AP/A-level Biology (AS/A2)
AP Art History
Honors French
Honors World Geography
All other courses are regular level courses. I'm planning to take the AP exams for all of my courses at the end of senior year.

I am white and fluent in English, French, and Arabic

I believe my ECs are well above average. I am the president and founder of 3 clubs and a charity. My clubs are all associated with developing leadership skills, diplomatic capabilities, and other such things. I am a member of many other clubs and work with many charities and organizations through my school. MUN is a great passion of mine and i am the senior student advisor this year for both middle and high school delegations. I volunteer at a local hospital and do plenty of community service. I have the lead role in the school play and am constantly a leader in school activities. Also, I am a self defense instructor outside of school and have 14 years of martial arts activities and training.

Last year, I won a Diplomacy Award at the Lebanese Global Classrooms MUN and was then selected for the team of six top delegates (out of all high schoolers in the country) to represent lebanon in the world conference in New York where I won a Position Paper Award.

I wrote my two required UC Essays and honestly think they are pretty good and unique, but that's just my opinion. They show great passion and determination and truly highlight my individuality and personal situation.

I know it's a lot to read and thank you for your time! I'd greatly appreciate any feedback and am open to any questions about my application. Also if someone could just clarify for me how applying for financial aid will affect my chances, I would be very greatful! Thank you.

that ^ is a link to a gpa calculator (it says it’s for CSUs, but it should be the same for UCs, can’t locate the UC calculator right now). I’ve heard UCs in general place more emphasis on numbers (GPA, test scores) than other schools, so it’s a bit hard to chance you without your UC GPA.

My UC GPA is 4.07 according to [GPA Calculator (UC) » RogerHub](GPA Calculator for the University of California – RogerHub)

you will get into one of them for sure
ucla, cal, and san diego are low reaches
uc davis match

nice list of ap classes though

UC Berkeley: reach
UCLA: slightly lower reach
UC San Diego: match
UC Davis: match
UC Santa Barbara: match to low match
UC Irvine: match to low match
Curious as to why most of your ECs (at least, the ones that you listed) are not that science oriented, if you’re interested in majoring in biology.

Thank you basketweaver and missionsan! My school doesnt have that many clubs and activities, that’s why i founded a bunch. I won the YouthCanMed award for a project on saving endangered bird species in Lebanon out of all the high schools in the country if that counts. I also took a medical biology summer course in Oxford last summer and am currently doing a biology project for worldwide competition between all the schools in my school system but i didnt get to put the project part on my app because it hadnt started yet. Thats pretty much all i could do for scientific ECs because it was all that was available

UC Berkeley: reach
UCLA: low reach/reach
UC San Diego: high match
UC Davis: high match
UC Santa Barbara: match
UC Irvine: match

UC Berkeley: reach
UCLA: low reach
UC San Diego: match
UC Davis: match
UC Santa Barbara: low match
UC Irvine: match

Good luck! Chance me back!

UC Berkeley: Very High reach
UCLA: Mid reach
UC San Diego: match
UC Davis: In
UC Santa Barbara: In
UC Irvine: match

Thank you! Any other opinions? I will chance back leave a link

Your ECs are so good! And your super scored SAT is 2150 I believe. I don’t know enough about those schools specifically but you are an awesome applicant!

Your superscore is, as mentioned earlier, a 2150. This puts you above the mean (2050) of the best school on the list, UC Berkeley. I honestly think that all UCs other than SD, LA, Berkeley, and Davis are safety. You’re in for Davis and SD. Berkeley and LA are low matches, but I’d say that you’re probably in for both.

Definitely a strong applicant, I don’t know a ton about the UCs other than Berkley and LA, so I won’t go into specific chances, but you have strong ECs and a good course load so I’m sure you’ll do well. Good luck!

Thank you everyone! So it seems that I’m on the fence for Berkeley LA and SD? Here’s a slight setback, how will it affect my chances for a Bio major if I have a B in biology for grades 9 and 10?

You have a quite interesting background.

I would say that all colleges are matches except UCLA and UC Berkeley.

UC Berkeley: reach
UCLA: reach
UC San Diego: match
UC Davis: match
UC Santa Barbara: safety
UC Irvine: safety

You are a strong applicant. Your SAT score could be considered low but IMO your EC’s and GPA compensate for it. Your very unique background will also be a strong factor. I think you are a match for any of these colleges, but the “higher ones” (Berkely/UCLA/etc) are higher matches, depending on the strength of your essays.

UC Berkeley low reach
UCLA low reach
The rest are matches. Good luck in your college search!!

Question: How are you a California resident?
Does your family still have a residence in California?
Just asking because your stats can get you in, but depending on your residency now, you may be considered international when applying and that would make FA difficult and possibly your admission.

Thank you everyone! Aunt bea I’m really confused as to how it shows on my application, but I know that my parents pay taxes in California to keep my residency there. I gave my social security and all that and said that I live in California but I’m studying abroad. So yeah idk if it shows through the social security on the app they said they would determine my residency but idk how. Also can you tell me if I should apply for financial aid and how it would affect my chances?
