I'm worried about my UC GPA because the courses that I took were really easy.

Junior year:
APUSH
AP lang

( 4 APs but those classes are not hard enough? No AP science .. I'm not interested in them but I'm worried that UCs look for them?)

this year (senior):

AP literature

Dual Spanish

Personal statement: first one was bad, the second was really good.

what do you think? should I apply to other schools that are more "safety-ish"? I really want to go to UCSC.

UCI/UCSB: Match
UCSC: Low Match
UCR/UCM: Safety

Good Luck

thank you!

I think you’re a match for UCR, UCM, UCSC.
UCI & UCSB are a bit more competitive but I think you still have a fair shot. I know that UCSB puts a lot of emphasis on EC’s

good luck!

Your unweighted GPA is actually probably more important than your weighted GPA but you seem like a solid applicant. Honestly you should be able to get into all of these colleges and if your unweighted UC GPA is 3.8+ I would recommend applying to UCLA and UCB as well.

Good Luck!
