<p>Hey Everyone! I would really appreciate if you would take the time to read the following and chance me for UIUC Business
I go to a very competitive high school in Naperville</p>

<p>Stats:
W. GPA: 3.87
ACT: 29
I know my GPA puts me in a tough position, which is why I am anxious. I messed up my second semester soph. year in HA2 and Honors Chem and first semester Junior year in Honors Precalc and Honors Bio - I got C's in all of these weighted classes. However, I dropped Honors Precalc to regular my second semester Junior year and I pulled of a 4.0 that semester. I hope they notice the improvement. </p>

<p>Senior Year Schedule:
- Business Independent Tech Study (I aligned my curriculum with UIUC'S BADM 320 class and shadowed a mentor who successfully started his own company; I wrote about this in one of my essays)
- Spanish 5
- AP Psychology
- AP Calculus AB
- Physics
- Senior Rhetoric</p>

<p>Extra - Curricular Activities
Tennis: Varsity singes player all four years, sectionals qualifier (2012, 2014) and DVC champions (2011, 2012, 2014)
President of ISA (2013, 2014)
Gymnastics (2011 - could not continue because of tennis)

Local Rep at YJA for Midwest region (2013)

Above all, I believe that my involvement in dance is very unique. I am part of a dance troupe that is involved in the Bollywood industry, and we get paid to perform all over Chicago. One of my favorite experience was performing as a back up dancer for a very popular singer from India. This was at Sears centre arena this past summer, in front if 8,000+ people. I also do modeling and have modeled for various company portfolios and wedding expos. </p>

<p>60 yes, 40 no for business. 85 yes 15 no for LAS. 90 yes 10 no for DGS. It is becoming a lot more competitive and UIUC admits a lot of International students. Make sure you put LAS or DGS as alternative. Also of course apply to safety schools. Don’t put modelling in your essay. Focus on diversity. UIUC loves diversity. My daughter had a horrid junior year and she got into UIUC with a 30 ACT and 3.5.</p>
