Chance me for UMich Fall 2009. Please? Pretty please?

<p>Hello everyone, I'm looking to apply to UMich-Ann Arbor for Fall 2009. Im actually currently applied for Winter 2009(the semester before Fall 2009), and I havent received my decision yet. Im just trying to access my chances for Fall in case I dont get in(Likely) for Winter 2009.</p>

<p>So here is my info:</p>

<p>HS GPA: 2.87(Chronic respiratory illness caused me to go to the hospital more than school),I almost didnt graduate because I barely met the attendance requirements.
ACT: 26, mediocre yet.
EC: Varsity Soccer and Varsity Tennis, Science fair state winner, Various state/national music awards, member of 3 clubs(active)</p>

<p>Current College: University of Michigan-Dearborn, sophomore, enrolled in the business school</p>

<p>Grades and credits:</p>

<p>Fall 2007:
Math 115(Calc 1) 4 credits: B
MIS 120, 3credits: B-
COMP 106, 3 credits: A-
SOC200, 3 credits: A-
Total credits thus far: 13</p>

<p>Winter 2008:
ECON 201, 3 credits: B
ECON 202, 3credits: B
BIOL 100, 3 credits: B
POL 101, 3credits: A-
HIST 103, 3credits: A
Total Credits thus far: 28</p>

<p>Summer 2008:
PHIL 101, 3 credits: A-
PSYCH 171, 3 credits: B
Total credits thus far: 34</p>

<h2>With the total credits and grades, I ended up with a 3.30 GPA</h2>

<p>That ends what I have accumulated so far</p>

<p>Here is the curriculum that I am taking currently for Fall 2008 and the REALISTIC anticipation for received grades:</p>

<p>PHYS130, 3credits: (A-)
PHYS 131(lab), 1 credit: (A)
SOC 320, 3 credits: (A)
CRJ 300, 3 credits: (A-)
ACC 298, 3 credits: (B or B-) I hate this class, so hard.
MHIS 100, 3credits: (A)</p>

<p>After this term I would end up with 50 credits. </p>

<p>Winter 2009 schedule(Assuming I dont get into Ann Arbor by then) not chosen yet.</p>

<p>So, what do you think would be my chances for FALL 2009? keep in mind, Im still applied for WINTER 2009.</p>

<p>well constable you have read all of my stats and stuff and my hs was a little higher 3.0 act as well 27 - and my college was also 3.89 and i got in. just be patient. have you sent or been asked to send a transcript for midterms yet?</p>

<p>nope, they havent been asked for any further info. Infact, I havent gotten a single letter or update on my wolverine access account from them since I applied.</p>

<p>that is really interesting - have you tried to find out who your admin counselor would be... somehow i managed to find that out and i was able to find out when and how many people reviewed my app - it was all in the system but the girl i talked to when i called UGA told me who was looking at it, who was my counselor was and such - that gave me an idea of everything and a general timeframe - although i know nothing of the app process i would assume it would come out very soon since they have not asked for midterms from you </p>

<p>i sent in a lot of extras also - three letters of rec - updated my app 3 separate times and was always bugging admin so the fact that you sent in extra material is not the hold up. </p>

<p>just call tmrw and make sure they have everything - ask what they have and who each thing came from.</p>

<p>i have a friend last year who applied to nd for spring transfer. came around to the 15th of jan - should have known by the 5th, his school started again and he had no decisions - called admin and they lost parts of his app told him to send it in asap - called him the next day and he was accepted - so it never hurts to ask and check and ask specifically what they have. they wont get annoyed with you and it wont hurt their decision since you are not contacting the people who directly look at your app.</p>
