Chance Me for UNC-Chapel Hill

GPA W/U--3.57/4.29

SAT I CR/M/W--730/610/610

Attend an Early College High School, and have been awarded the President's List honor twice.

Currently President of my school's Interact Club.

My high school does not offer AP, but dual-credit CC classes.

Will be challenging AP Lit Exam this May.

Will be retaking the SAT I this Summer.

Will likely participate in a drama production this Summer, and maybe into the Fall.

Will take SAT II Lit this Fall.

Will join Phi Theta Kappa (National CC Honors Society) this Fall, and might receive officership.

Will be participating in NanoWriMo this November.

Will have great recommendations from my English IV teacher and one of my philosophy instructors from the CC. Also, a Spanish instructor who has had me for two courses will definitely write me a great recommendation as well.

Also, if anyone would like to suggest other colleges for me to apply to, that would be great. I'm interested in majoring in English

If you’re in-state, you should be fine.

If you’re out-of-state, you don’t look so good.

Out of the entire student body at UNC-Chapel Hill, 82% is from North Carolina, which makes the people who apply from out-of-state EXTREMELY competitive.

Thankfully, I am in-state.

You’re looking fine for in-state, though Carolina can be strange sometimes. My school has a good track record with UNC, so my view could be skewed.
