Chance me for University of Delaware(Associates in Arts Program, in particular)

Currently a junior, but I am just worried whether or not I will be accepted to UD. I am an instate student and attend a pretty good public high school. However, some parts of my area are rural and my county is rural overall. I do not have access to certain things that others in suburban or urban areas have access to—I’m mainly referencing diversity and job opportunities. I want to post this so I can see my chances of getting into the University of Delaware, since it is my state’s flagship school and it has a good academic reputation. I am mentioning the Associates in Arts program because it allows me to get 2 free years of tuition while taking UD classes at my local community college. This is important to me since my family cannot afford to pay my tuition. I am from a working/lower middle class family of 8. I know I will qualify for federal grants and loans since my EFC will be kind of low(my mom calculated my brother’s EFC and he is a senior). I am a white female. I want to major in something that will lead to a comfortable job that makes use of my strengths(organizing, filing things, focus, detail orientation). I am thinking about a major in education or a business related field. However, I am undecided for now.

Stats:

GPA: 3.45 unweighted, ~3.7-3.8 weighted

Individual years:

Freshman-2.98 or 3.01 uw, 3.18 w(I did very bad freshman year—this is not a true representation of my academic abilities. I didn’t care about school and focused on having a social life. I went through personal issues during this time.)

Sophomore: 3.56 uw, 3.78 w(I did much better, but I could have tried harder. I was focused on making friends but cared about school at the same time.)

Junior(so far): 3.8 uw, ~4.38 w(Literally am a huge overachiever this year—I’m finally realizing that my academics matter quite a bit.)

SAT: Probably going test optional, but I take this in March. I am predicting around a 1100-1200 since my practice test was in that range. My PSAT was in the 65-70th percentile range so I am predicting a SAT score in that range as well. (For reference, my school’s School Day SAT average from last year was a 980)

-Note: The AA program requires me to apply for UD through common app, so it is basically the same as applying to the main campus. Applying for the AA program would have the same acceptance rate as applying for admission into the main campus. However, the AA program doesn’t charge tuition for students who qualify—like myself.

your instate and your stats look pretty good, often times admissions counselors compare you to people in your area so you should be fine in that sector. Either way, you should be proud of what you’ve accomplished so far.
