I'm a junior at a very good school in Michigan.
I'm in the top 25-50%.
I have a 3.3 GPA (I really struggled my freshman year and ended up with a 2.9, but I've been working hard taking and getting A-B's in advanced classes and worked it up to there, and I continue to work at raising it).
I'm in the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme, and I'm in all the hardest courses my school offers through the IB programme. I will be in the 3rd graduating class for my school's IB program, so we don't have a lot of classes for it yet.
Sophomore year I took Pre-IB English/History/Conceptual Physics.
I'm on my school's award winning robotics team and am in a position of authority. I also take a film class outside of school. By the time I graduate, I should have at least 300 hours of community service. I am also in the National Art Honor's Society.

I haven't taken the SAT or ACT yet, but I'm going to in the spring.

I was also a resident of Texas, but we moved to Michigan when I was two. My grandfather, Aunt, Uncle, and Sister (freshman year and current graduate student) all went to UT, so I think I'm a legacy?

I'm planning to apply to UT and UVa, but what do you think my chances are?
