Hey guys, I'm applying to UVA for Fall 2011, and I wanted to get an idea of my chances for UVA. I attended Albemarle High School in Charlottesville for 10 years, so I know a lot about the University and such. But before Junior year, I moved to another city, so a little bit of my stats are odd. Anyway, here are my stats:

Race: Indian
Current Residence: VA
Intended Major: Physics

SAT Score: 650 CR, 720 M, 610 W
SAT II Scores: Math II: 670, Physics: 720
ACT Score: 32 Composite

HS GPA: 3.98 (Weighted, only AP classes are weighted though)

Class Rank: 50/312 (My new school has less competition, and A's are easier to receive. But AHS is known for its competition, with many graduates attending Ivy leagues and top tier colleges every year. I had B's here and there from 7th grade to 10th grade. Hence my lower class rank upon transfer, since my new school doesn't offer Honors courses, My GPA got screwed, and my Class Rank)

Took 4 AP's Junior year, taking 5 this year. The only ones I didn't take are AP Chemistry, AP World History, AP Art, or any AP Languages. I took/am taking every other AP class offered in this new school. I also got all A's in my junior year, and I am most likely going to get all A's for the first semester of my senior year as well.

Anticipated 1st President of the Math Honor Society in my new school. I attended an Experimental Physics Academy at UPenn, and that solidified my future in terms of my major. Volunteer at the hospital in the Neuro-Trauma Center (Help patients get food, drinks, and get them comfortable. Help doctors with supplies and stuff.)

I have known many of the UVA Physics professors for years, they are family friends. I've known them ever since I lived in Charlottesville (Before I moved). My father also worked at UVA for 10 years as a Microbiologist. Not alumni relations, but faculty relations. I don't really know if it helps or not...

Please chance me! Any ideas on my chances would help me prepare a lot!
