I am a Washington resident, Korean/African-American female, currently a senior. Family income is probably around $60,000-$70,000
I have an UW GPA of 3.99 (my school doesn't weigh GPA's)
Freshman: honors world studies, honors freshman language, geometry, honors integrated science
Sophomore: AP world history, honors English, honors biology, Spanish 1, algebra 2
Junior: AP US history, AP Chemistry, AP Language & composition, Spanish 2
Senior: AP calculus AB, AP physics 1, AP literature, AP government, Spanish 3.
I've gotten all A's, 1 A- first semester in AP chemistry
Test scores: I took the ACT for the third time today and test taking is my weakness. First time I got a 24 C and second time I got 26 C (29 E 27 M 25 R 24 S 8 W). I feel like I didn't do well today so I'm unsure if I want to take it a fourth time and if it'd be necessary or not...
I've taken leadership for two semesters. I was junior class Vice President and senior class public relations officer now. I am the treasurer for National Honor Society. I've done varsity cheerleading for 3 years and I volunteer at the boys and girls club weekly but will be volunteering at the library. I was also a peer tutor freshman to sophomore year, primarily for math. UW is my dream school and I will be applying to safeties in Washington such as Western but I really don't want to go anywhere else and I'm a little concerned about my test scores and whether it not I should take the ACT again (I know it's a state flagship but I hear some terrifying stories like how valedictorians don't get in, etc.) Thank you :)
