<p>I'm going to be a senior this year -- female, white, I live in IL and I go to a well-respected public boarding school.</p>

<p>GPA: 3.5
SAT: 2250 (Math & Critical Reading: 1530)
ACT: 34</p>

<p>I took the English Language AP in May but I don't know my score yet. My school does not offer AP classes.</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
Drama club, three years, and I've had two leads.
French club, three years. I applied for and was selected to go to Paris on the school's trip in January.
Neuroscience club, three years. I've been a board member for two, and I participated in the Chicago Brain Bee this year (but did not advance to nationals).
I'm currently on the editorial staff of the school newspaper.
I also worked for my local newspaper for two years and was published.
NHS, two years.
Key Club, two years. I have 200 service hours logged.
I'm currently a writing tutor at my school, and have been for two years.
I'm a member of our school's selective literary discussion club (three years).
Student Council, freshman year (before changing schools).</p>

<p>Last summer, after going through a tough application process, I tutored an English program for students new to my school. It was a nearly month-long, intensive program, for which I earned 150 hours of service.</p>

<p>This summer, I'll be attending summer session at the University of Chicago to study law, for which I'll receive college credit.</p>

<p>I want to major in the humanities -- currently undecided as to whether or not I'll do English or History as my major. I want to go to law school.</p>

<p>Alright. So, really strong test scores but your GPA is a bit low. Does your school rank? Assuming your rank makes up for the GPA I say you’re in or a low reach at worst.
Sorry, don’t know enough about Vanderbilt.</p>
