Hooks (first generation college, underrepresented minority, legacy): Estranged father, Great uncle is a professor at Vanderbilt and his three children attended, they’re all my cousins of course.

I kind of didn’t add in hooks that the situation with my father is that he doesn’t pay any child support and only reaches out to us when he needs something. Hes had a heart attack and a very minor extremity amputation, lives in motels, etc. My two jobs are primarily to help my mother and make me less dependent on her so she can dedicate money to other things. I discussed this in my essays

Oh my God i also forgot to write I am the president of our Student Government

You seem to be someone that the school would like to have. Why don’t you post this chance me on the Vandy’s threads? You will likely get more responses from there, especially only couple days to know the result.

@amNotarobot is there a specific ed 2022 thread?

Yes, you go to the Colleges and Universities link (on the upper left corner; right before the ivy league link), on the section of the top universities, select Vanderbilt, and you will see a lot of chance me the the 2022 ED thread. You have a bit better states than my D, who got in last year through ED1.
