Average GPA to get into Wellesley is really close to mine compared to other people who got accepted from my school, but ACT score is 32+, which is what I’m worried about…

I spoke with an admissions counselor a few weeks ago and she told me that a lower ACT/SAT score isn’t the worst thing in the world. A 29 isn’t the worst thing to have, you could still get in if you worked hard, but I would try to raise it 2-3 points. Just in my opinion.

The average ACT score for the class of 2019 was 31, which isn’t that far from what you got (and that’s the average anyway, not the low). I really wouldn’t stress too much about your test score. If you have time to take the ACT again and raise your score a couple of points, go ahead, but it’s probably fine either way.
