One from my 10th grade math teacher: should be great , honestly great letter he wrote in my report already that he is one of the only people he saw in his life when teaching ( he taught for over 25 years ) . I take tutitons with him also so he is kinf of forced to give me a good recommendation been taking math with him for 3 years and my sister also.

Recommendation letter from a couple ambassadors

Recommendation letter from a Professor at Mayo Clinic

Recommendation letter from one of the 711 board of directors.

Income: I am not sure what to put cause I live abroad and only pay taxes in the U.s to the property I have their.... So if it's property It is round 150,000 a year if you include earnign over seas its 600,000

I will apply for Early admission

Nice ECs, you might want to focus more on your debate achievements rather than dump everything (running, bodybuilding etc.) into your application to show you have proper depth

Grades look fine. I might be wrong but isn’t AS a easier version of the proper British ‘A’ Levels? I assume that your school didn’t offer the British ‘A’ Levels …

The significantly worrying part is your lack of Maths. You don’t seem to have taken it at the AS level and you haven’t taken the SAT II subject in it either. This will definitely set you back a lot considering that wharton essentially plasters it all over their website on how students need to be good in the subject and take the highest level of calculus offered.

I know people who got in without taking IB HL Maths or equivalent but they still scored 700+ on SAT II Maths which sort of made up for it. You definitely should study and take the subject test if you have time. It will do you a world of good

SAT I also looks a bit low considering you are essentially an international student. You might want to retake it and at least score 800 in the Maths section

Also I am definitely not sure how you plan to submit 5 recommendation letters. A bit of context in the authors would be good as well

Hey man, I forgot to say that I am taking As math too and will probably get an A in it. Alevels is a 2 year course first you do the As test then the a2 test . but i dont necessarily want to stay and do year 13 so will not do the a2 exam.

What about math sat 2, is it very hard?

I plan on writing my personal statement about being from 3 different cultures
I plan on doing the wharton essay by talking about my passion for business

How could I focus my application on debating?

I think you can submit additional recommendation letters

Math SAT 2 should be a piece of cake for anyone who can score an A in British ‘A’ Levels. Also as far as I am aware, you can only submit one extra letter of recommendation and it should highlight a different aspect of you that hasn’t already been highlighted by your teachers

As for focusing your application on debate which is your strongest EC by fat, there are a multitude of ways. Hop around this forum and ask around, you will definitely get a lot of ideas

Also I am a competitive debater in the WSDC format from singapore myself. Will you be competing in WSDC 2015?

Your SAT scores are definitely on the lower side, but your grades do look great and so do your ECs.

I would say it’s a reach, but definitely possible especially if you apply ED. Best of luck.
