Chance me for Whitman?

<p>Ok so Whitman is by far my first choice!
GPA: Weighted: 3.76 Unweighted: 3.57
My freshmen first semester destroyed me as I received a 2.7 but I then raised it second semester to a 3.6. Sophomore both semesters I got a 3.8, Junior both semesters a 4.3.
-I wrote about a extremely difficult situation I was going through in the additional section of the application to explain my poor GPA freshmen year.</p>

<p>ACT: 25</p>

<p>APS/Honors I took 2 Aps and one honor last year and this year I am taking 3 Aps.</p>

<p>Interview: It was my first interview so I was really nervous, but I was being real and let my personality shine through.</p>

<p>Personal Essay: I chose the who influenced me the most prompt. I wrote about my Grandpa...and I think its Unique because my grandpa suffered from a stroke before I met him so I never was able to carry a convo with him...but I write how his actions have influenced me. </p>

<p>Diversity essay: I wrote about how I am russian, armenian, jewish and polish. And my circle of friends and how important to me all opinions are respected.</p>

<p>Optional essay: I wrote about my experience visiting whitman and How I fell in love with it.
EC:
-I play tennis and have a national ranking. I am on the recruit list for Whitman. I have spoken with the coach and played with some members of the team.
-I participate in a a lot of Community Service
-Member of many clubs, such as a staff writer for the Talon.
-I took 2 classes at Pierce. One sophomore year and one junior year. I took psychology and cultural anthropology and I received an A in both.
-I volunteer weekly at Valley Press Hospital, Pacific pride (LGBT) foundation, Jenson-Schmidt academy for the down syndrome, Pet orphans and a lot more organizations.
-I was accepted into the National Honors Society
-I am a member of student council
-I won the St. Michael's Book award for outstanding Community Service.</p>

<p>Oh I also applied ED II</p>

<p>Congrats for pulling up your grades so nicely after your freshman year! Your lowish ACT score doesn’t bode well, but your ECs look terrific being nationally ranked in tennis. You’re not an easy one to predict, but I would say overall you’ll probably be accepted, especially since you applied ED. By the way, are you male or female?</p>

<p>I think your gpa is definitely good enough but your act might decrease your chances. But overall you look like a good candidate and have a solid chance. Goodluck I am also applying to Syracuse but for cas so I might see you there. Can u please chance me thank you</p>
