Chance me: good SATs and GPA, mediocre ECs. Also, I am asian and play the violin. Whoop-de-do!

I’m a rising senior.
Chance me for: UC Berkeley (out of state), Cornell, UPenn, Carnegie Mellon, and maybe any good colleges that care a lot about SATs and GPA and not much about ECs?
I think I will major in comp sci. I’m female if that matters

UW GPA: 4.0

You will gain admission to many very good colleges, most likely including several on your list. What is your home state?

I Think you have a pretty good chance to all the schools you listed. Some like Carnegie Mellon are bigger reaches due to compsci being an impacted major there (I don’t think it is for the others) . During Cornell program, if you get a letter of rec from a professor it may help it Cornell admissions a bit. But honestly, you seem as competitively as any (other than exceptions like recruited athletes, international academic champions etc).
