<p>Cross Country for 4 years-currently captain of jv cross country team</p>
<p>other activities-I was in adventure in science 4h program which was started by umd...i did that for 6 years</p>
<p>Volunteered at montgomery county voter registration--helped people vote
volunteered at a hospice center for senior aged people</p>
<p>Im going to be honest.As you already know your stats are quite below avarage. You don’t have great ECs or anything to make you stand out.
Id think spring or even a good chance of rejection. I’m just being honest, and you want the truth right. UMD is certainly a reach for you.</p>

<p>You certainly have a chance with your SAT, but the GPA hurts you a lot. You’ll know soon enouhgh though (assuming priority).</p>

<p>i’m with nuplex. idk if UMD defers, but if they do, then you’d probably get deferred or rejected unless your major was like african american woman studies</p>

<p>I think the only thing working against you is your UW GPA. It’s quite low. However, your chances aren’t that slim. That GPA is just really iffy.</p>

<p>I think you have a chance for fall but definitely FC or Spring. But you never know…UMD is very random with it’s decisions! Best of luck!</p>

<p>Not bad at all, GPA is a little low but SATs are on par, really it might depend on your courseload and essays. FC for sure though and I hope you get in fall 2012!</p>
