I am an international student from the UK. I have all A's at GCSE (we don't have GPA, gcses are like our version of gpa, i guess). Neither do we have class rank.
My SAT I superscore is: R: 700, M: 590, W: 680.
My SAT IIs (bearing in mind the topics covered at school are different in the US and UK): Chemistry: 590 (i know, i completely flunked), Biology: 730, Spanish: 710.
And I am taking courses considered very rigorous at the moment. I also have strong ECs and Charity/volunteer work as well as leadership roles within the community/school. I also have to look after my younger brother a lot, which is a 'consideration'. This summer i have a lot planned too (basically, i don't want to bore you with the details, but i'd say my ECs are v. strong). I'm hoping my essays and teacher reccs will be good too. My main problem is that i can't afford Oxy, and international aid is very competitive ... So i guess my question is what are my chances of getting into Occidental, and what are my chances of recieving aid?

Thanks for taking the time to read this!!! :) :) :)
