-Going into my senior year at a public high school</p>

<p>Stats:
-My GPA is a 3.42 W (3.05 UW); I take a lot of honors/AP classes
-SAT: 1990 (MATH: 700, CR: 640, WRITING: 650)</p>

<p>Activities:
-3 years of baseball
-2 years at one job
-1 year at another job
-1 year in one club</p>

<p>West Point is kinda selective…I think. I don’t know much about it.</p>

<p>Your GPA is pretty weak though…And your ECs could use some work.</p>

<p>You aren’t really applying to “difficult” colleges though so I suppose you’ve got a good shot at all of them.</p>

<p>none of them are extremely selective, and all have similar stats as i’m looking through the princeton review…i’ll say you definately have a chance, so all are matches/ low reaches
just rock that apps essay</p>

<p>sorry, but i’m not planning on looking at west point, but I also heard it’s selective regarding test scores</p>

<p>-try taking the ACT, some people do better on that</p>

<p>I’ll say this…</p>

<p>Retake the SATs. You’ll almost certainly raise your scores in all of them and probably by a lot in writing.</p>

<p>I think you’re in at all of the colleges you’ve mentioned.</p>

<p>I can’t speak for West Point, but my uncle went to the Air Force Academy. He said it was difficult getting in. But the service academies like people who are tenacious. If you want in, keep trying!</p>

<p>I’d say you’re definitley in an ok position for West Point, just get some more ECs and try the ACT and I’d like your chances. </p>

<p>West Point is huge on the “whole person” concept, so make your resume as well-rounded as you can.</p>

<p>Get those SAT’s up and really work on your AP’s. Also, finish strong at your jobs and see if a recommendation would be appropriate for any of the schools.</p>

<p>West Point is difficult- probably your biggest reach.</p>
