<p>just my opinion. you have a lot of good stuff: Ecs, minority, challenging schedule, job etc. but your GPA is just okay and your SATs are a little rough

<p>Just for the record, GW is quite a bit more selective than American. They accept 37% of applicants, while American is around 60%. B.U. accepts >50%. So does Syracuse. Fordham and NE- about 40% accepted.</p>
<p>Being that you are a URM, legacy, and ED you have a shot at GW. (If you weren’t all those things I would say very small chance.) Also, since you go to a competetive private school your GPA can be forgiven. Do a lot of people go to GW from your school? Meaning does GW know your school well like how competetive it is? If yes then that helps your chances a lot. If your essays and recs are good I think you will get in with your EC’s and URM Legacy hooks.</p>
