<p>Hopefully, I'll continue making straight As throughout my Senior year.</p>

<p>I have 20 hours of volunteer work.
I've had a job since my freshman year.
My sister has Cerebral Palsy.
I am from a low income family.
I live in Lenoir, NC; A small, under-developed city.
I was a junior marshal (top 12 of the Junior class).
I made a 1390 on the SAT with all combined. I'm retaking it in October, and hopefully I can pull that up to the 1900s.</p>

<p>What do you think? If I pull up my SAT score to a 1900+, could I get accepted at these schools?</p>

<p>I know, with Wake, I'm not going to send my SAT, since they're optional there.</p>

<p>Oh, and if you could please recommend other schools for me, that would be great! :)

<p>You have no chance Duke with these stats. Understand that Duke is almost like getting into an Ivy, Not quite, but close.</p>

<p>Your schedule isn’t challenging enough to have a shot at Duke. I can see you getting into the others though. That being said, you should still apply to all.</p>

<p>Hey Allen. I really don’t see you having a solid shot at Duke. Wake is also going to be a reach for you. the others: I think you’ll be fine. </p>

<p>The reason I don’t see you at Duke is that one of the most prestigious Universities in the country is not going to fly with a 1900, or even a 2000 for that matter. They are looking for the best of the best both grade-wise and test score-wise. Good luck though. Would you mind chancing me? </p>
