<p>Hey guys I'm new to CC.
So I am a little late in my considerations about college etc. I was never aware of how important and what not. I could tell you for days....and I'm just not very motivated. I'm looking on this forum and everyone is doing wayyyy more than i am. And as a more...common person, I'd like to know what college an average person can go to. I'm from California and it'd be nice to go to UCLA but i think my chances are low. Probably UCSD. What private schools would accept me?</p>

sophomore gpa: 3.8 (i think)
junior gpa: 3.6 (i predict)
overall gpa: 3.7333</p>

AP european history: A/B (dont remember. perhaps B/B) i got a 3 on this exam. :(

honors precal: B/A
PE: A/A
honors english: B/A</p>

Psychology: A/A
AP Chemistry: C/C (i hated this class....i take the blame for not studying hard enough)
AP Calculus AB: A/A
US History: A/A
AP English Language: B/ hopefully an A (worst case B+)
Drama: A/A</p>
<p>expecting a 5 on my ap psych exam. i took it w/o the ap class. does that affect how colleges look at me? or minorly? or not at all?
i'll probably get a 3 on my chem exam and a 5 on my calc exam and a 4 on my engrish exam.</p>

TA (which is virtually a bs nothing class. i dont even think it is a class....at least i dont think i'll get credits for this....)
i'll be taking all these ap tests in the spring...</p>
<p>SAT Scores: 2170 (going to retake soon, expecting 2200+ hoping for 2300.....the next time i take it will be my third try. i got 2070 on my first try)
SAT2 Chinese: 790
SAT2 Math 2: 690
what other ones should i take? </p>

i have.....200+ hours. and over the summer i'll be volunteering w/ some performing arts for around 100+ hours.</p>
<p>i feel my EC's are lacking...but what can i do now right?
The thing is....our school's clubs are very inactive and are very.....lame u could say. not an excuse. its just. none are passionate except the mock trial team. but i have no interest whatsoever in law. nothing attracts me. im really undecided in what i want to do in the future.....and what's the point of joining a 'club' if the only reason i do it for is to look good for college......i mean....yea. i should. but i dont see a good enough motivation for that...</p>
<p>not that i can say that i played piano....with a certificate for level5. i mean i did. but i quit halfway into freshman year b4 the level 9 test.....whyyyyyyyy
i draw but as a hobby. i havent gotten any awards or anything...i do for fun. </p>
<p>and yea. my life is also quite boring. if i were to write an essay...i'd sound like holden from catcher in the rye...</p>
