those schools look like good fits for you. not much to say here - you’re not reaching for ivies and your stats are decent, so yeah good fit.

Thanks, anyone else?

hey thanks for chancing me. Your SAT scores and GPA is very similar to mine, so schools like Maryland and Rugters should be in the bag (don’t really know about the others). But you seem to be, by the looks of your activities, a very creative and politically active person. I’m not too sure about the schools you listed, but my friend, who has those two attributes, applied to UPenn, and she is raving about how much of a fit it is. I would suggest you check it out.

Alright I’ll check it out, thanks!

Very good chances at all. good luck!

Good chances at all of them. I think you could aim higher if you wanted to! :-)

yeah like peruvian singer said and i forgot to mention, you should aim higher

UNC, William and Mary, NYU, and Wake are all highly ranked schools… if I aim any higher I’ll be getting into top 20 territory and I can’t see myself making it there, not by a long shot. Then again, I’m way too hard on myself, so what schools would you recommend I aim for?

i can’t say because I’m no expert and I don’t know enough about your situation eg. major, financial situation, etc. but I’m sure you’ll be able to find a reach school that fits your situation. sorry i couldn’t give exact examples.

Really? Isn’t his 3.4 GPA a tad low for a top 20? Or, maybe his school is just super tough. Also, does your school rank?

Then, again, I’d say just go for it because it never hurts to try!

My school doesn’t rank, but my guidance counselor estimated I’m probably in the top 30%, maybe top 25%… That’s why I feel I shouldn’t aim higher than the colleges I already have listed. Maybe I’ll include one or two reaches just for the hell of it XD

Hey, thanks for chancing me
The schools seem like good matches for you, just like everyone else has been saying. And about the whole aiming higher thing - just because you don’t think you can make it doesn’t mean you should at least try. It sounds hella cliche, I know, but I know I alot of people kicking themselves in the butt because they never even tried applying to higher universities. You’re right, you’ve got some top ranked schools on there… but still.
I can’t really give any suggestions since I don’t know what you want to go into though…
But anyway, good luck whatever you decide to do!
