I'm new and didn't realize that this sub-forum existed, so I copied my previous thread post over here cause it seemed more appropriate.</p>
<p>Currently I'm panicking over college applications just as everyone else.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, my standards are too high for my low gpa. I currently have (unweighted) around a 3.2 gpa. I had several classes in the past years which significantly lowered my gpa (Latin and Chemistry) With this gpa, do you think that I can possibly get in some of these schools?</p>

Asian (mixed)
In a prestigious competitive public high school
Speaks Mandarin
Played piano for ten years- played a concert at a retirement center and took the ABRSM exams, also will be sending in a cd recording
Created a english learning program in shanghai, china- proceeds donated to a local orphanage and Red Cross
Editor of Literary Magazine (two years)
President of GSA (three years)
Painted a mural for the school
Won awards in Latin (despite the pitiful grades)
1900 SAT I
700 SAT II Lit</p>
