<p>I got low grades but my grades keep getting better and better.</p>

<p>This is my final year and I'm aiming for more As. Our school offers 3 IB higher level classes but I only took 1 last year. This year I'm taking none. I'm just worried this will effect me because college look at the rigor schedule. However, my counselor told me that Standard level match up to AP. I'm not sure if this could be a problem though. Anyways, our school haven't sent anyone to the Ivies or top tier schools for a while. Only 2 or 3 out of the graduating class last year got into BU. No more than that. So I'm kind of worried about this. </p>
<p>I'm a low income, female, first generation student. So this could be helpful. My SATs are 1600 as of right now. I did not take the subject tests yet. I'm planning to take it this November.</p>
<p>So that being said, my GPA is 2.8 as of right now. SAT I would say 1600. Our school don't rank, so I don't know my rank.</p>
