Chance me! Low GPA =#

Hello there.

I'm an international student, therefore I don't know my exact GPA. Also, I come from a really bad public school which gives us no opportunities for extra-curricular activities, and my country doesn't have AP or Honor systems.

What chances do I have on the following universities? - tOSU; Penn State U; UIUC; UW Madison; UCF; Purdue U. And if someone has a better university for me please tell me-

GPA - 82%, maybe around 3.0
Rank - 1/20 or top 5%
TOEFL - 104
SAT - 2000+ (I haven't done it yet, but I'm aiming for that score.
ECs - I used to play basketball and pratice taekwondo but due to a knee problem I had to stop early. Now I only play guitar and dedicate some time on the studies of social dinamic, participating on an online community where I met some guys from there.

I have very particular beliefs and a sense of leadership. I helped some friends with social interactions problems to be more confident.

I was delegate with vote and voice on a national conference regarding the rights of children and adolescents.

What country are you from? That could play a factor.

I think it also depends a lot on whether you will apply for FA, since many schools are less likely to give financial aid to an international student.

I’m brazilian and my High School was in brazil, but I also have portuguese citzenship. And I’ll be living in Mexico next month, so when I apply I will be there. Quite confusing no? hehehe.

I do not need financial aid at all.

Your GPA is on the low end. Come back once you have taken the SAT…

I agree with ArtsyGirl, too hard to tell and your SATs could help you.
