Hello, I was wondering if I had a good chance of getting into U of M Twin Cities. Let me know. Thanks for your opinion.

I would say you have a good shot considering the U takes all their applicants and “charts” them based on their GPA and test scores. They then take the top half of those to further consider for admission and reject the bottom half. You have a fairly good GPA but your SAT scores will definitely keep you in the top half. Your ECs are pretty good and should gain you admission. Also, make sure to submit an essay (even though not required) because it can help make up for a lower GPA and less ECs, as long as it’s written well. Good luck!

Do you live in the Twin Cities or Minnesota? If so than I would say your defiantly in. I don’t know anyone with a GPA above a 3.4 at my school that didn’t get in. Its pretty easy if your in-state. You could have more EC’s, but I don’t think the big U really cares. Increase your SAT and your good esp. if you’re in-state.
