Essays- 9/10 for CommonApp. I feel really confident about it, and both my english teacher and my guidance counselor praised it, so here’s hoping. All the supplements will hover around 7-8/10. I waited to long to start them, and they’re rushed, unfortunately.

Recommendations-

[QUOTE=""]

History teacher: 9/10. It was a great letter, if a little bland.

Counselor: ??? honestly no clue. I’ve gotten a decent amount of face time with her, and I think she likes me, but I doubt it will be anything special

I’ve already been admitted to Penn State Main Campus and the University of Pittsburgh (my safety schools)

Thanks for reading, please comment.

Oops, didn’t realize i put awards twice. Haha, it was a littlelate when i posted…

Not bad. You’re basically competitive at everywhere you apply. All you can do is hope that you get lucky. Admissions to top 20 schools is basically a crap-shoot.

Hi! I am impressed with your stats and I am sure that they meet the requirements for your reach schools. Your extra curriculars are strong, especially since you do a lot of leadership things. You should try to show yourself as a strong leader and list some successful projects you did as student government. That is what Ivy Leagues and top tier schools will like most, especially with good grades and SATs you have.

You might want to make a stronger relationship with your counselor because she can be a deciding factor, and your supplements could be improved if they are 7/8 out of ten. I would suggest making it all about you. Make every word count and good luck!!

@TryYourBest1 hi! thanks for responding :slight_smile:
Unfortunately, I started really talking to my gc after she submitted the reports, so there’s not much for me to do there.
I’m just trying my best on those essays hahaha. whenever it’s your time to write them, start them in summer. Don’t make the mistakes I did lol, last minute essays are rough.
