Chance me Northwestern and UPenn Transfer

Hey everyone!

I’m a first-year sophomore at my local Southern California CC. I came in with 30 UC credits due to my APs, and thus I will be applying to the UCs this year…but if it’s worth it, also to Northwestern and UPenn.

I’m a political science major.

A International Relations
A Critical Thinking and Composition
A Western Civilization
A Introduction to Theatre
A United States Government and Politics

next semester

Elementary Spanish
Biological Anthropology
Social and Political Philosophy
Comparative Politics
Improv 1
Introduction to Logic

In high school, I really f-ed up. I finished with a 3.4 weighted, 2.9 unweighted. My SAT was a 1650. But still, I took ten AP courses, and passed seven of them. My GPA fluctuated from 1.5s to 4.0s each semester, it was pretty ridiculous.

I was talking with a UCSD rep, and she told me I’d probably get into Berkeley and LA this year…but what do y’all think about UPenn and Northwestern? I’m pursuing Poli-Sci, and hopefully Theatre, too.

Just in my first semester of college, I have some fairly interesting ECs.

-Last summer: 9 weeks as Creative Writing Specialist at my local summer camp. I’d organize and lead three different writing blocs a day (every day), and would also host their weekly talent show.
-I’m the founder and president of the current events club (we have 30 active members). We live stream our meetings, and have members present the news, and start discussions on them.
-I take notes for ACCESS students in my courses.
-I’m a debater on the forensics team.

I’m an AP Scholar.

That’s it :X.

What do you guys think? Is it worth filling out an application?
