<p>i really dont want to disappoint you but i think you should have taken HL maths.
im in IB diploma too and i asked the stern admissions when i was serisouly considering dropping my HL maths because i couldnt understand half of the lesson, and he said that even if that meant my overall IB point will drop down by 2 points, they still recommend me to take HL maths. so i think that comes down to 5 in HL maths > 7 in SL maths.
but otherwise you seem like a perfect candidate for stern!

<p>An Adcom told me that HL math is recommended for preparation but said a high score in SL math will also be beneficial to application.</p>

<p>But yeah, I also feel that SL Math will hurt me.</p>
