Chance Me on Thanksgiving!

<p>I know some of you guys don't like "chances" threads, but I am very nervous about my chances to UC Berkeley.</p>

<p>Major: Classical Civilizations
GPA: 3.85
EC's: Law Internship, Historical Society member, History Club member
Work: 55 hours per week, 2 jobs to support family
Essays: Good</p>

<p>There are no prerequisites, as far as I can tell. </p>

<p>I am very nervous. The only thing I am scared of is that during last fall and last spring I took 6 and 9 units. I explain this in my personal statement, with the fact that I had to support my family during this time, 55 hrs per week due to an unexpected family incident. Now I am stuck taking 21 units next spring to reach 60--but I know I can do it because I wont be working.</p>

<p>How do my chances look?</p>

<p>Write a good personal statement and you're in. BTW, I've taken some of the classics courses at Cal and they're pretty good.</p>
