Very competitive Highschool is ranked in top 100 of highschools nationwide
Conflicting info. 4 years… implies being a senior while taking SAT implies a junior. HS rankings make no difference- how well you perform within your school counts- you are expected to take advantage of opportunities available to you. This includes taking the most rigorous classes and doing well in them. Your test scores could use a boost.
Your GPA seems incredibly inflated for someone with a 26 act. This implies that your “very competitive high school” isn’t preparing you well for college.
Additionally, all that extracurricular stuff doesn’t factor that much into the admissions process for a large state university. Raise your test scores.
I had a 3.9 weighted gpa, and a 32 act, and got in.
The weighted gpa is meaningless. UW only uses an unweighted one. The 3.7 is ordinary and the ACT on the lower side for UW admits. Remember that posted midrange scores/grades are the 25-75 percentile, 1/4 will be above and below that. You can improve your chances with better grades this semester and better test scores.
